.DISCUSSION...

Hot and humid weather continues today with temperatures across
the interior reaching the mid to upper 90s. Cooler readings
expected near the coast with southwest breezes expected. Showers
and storms will likely be more numerous today north of the MA
Turnpike.

Unsettled conditions again on Friday with the greatest chance for
thunderstorms and heavy rain across the CT River Valley.

Lowest relative humidities will be in the 40 to 50 percent range
on Thursday and 55 to 70 percent on Friday.

.OUTLOOK...Friday through Tuesday...

Shower and thunderstorm chances continue each afternoon and early
evening Saturday and Sunday. Cold frontal passage Monday will
yield more widespread precipitation before another prolonged
stretch of dry and mild weather sets up next week.
