Rain showers will move in to northern New York between 4 and 8 PM tonight, and move into Vermont between 7 and 11 PM. A few hours of steady rain are expected overnight before conditions turn more showery for Thursday. Total overnight rainfall amounts will be in the 0.25 to 0.5 inch range, with 0.01 to 0.10 inch of additional rainfall possible Thursday. Winds tonight will be from the west around 5 mph with some higher elevation gusts to 15-20 mph. Winds become northwesterly Thursday around 10 mph with some gusts to 20 mph. Thursday night and Friday will be dry as high pressure builds in.
