...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 400 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN RUTLAND AND SOUTHWESTERN WINDSOR COUNTIES...

At 345 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Weston, moving
east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Law enforcement.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

Locations impacted include...
Chester, Cavendish, Ludlow Village, Perkinsville Village,
Wallingford, Mt. Holly, Mt. Tabor, Windsor, Pawlet, Mount Holly,
Ludlow, Mount Tabor, Andover, Weston, Danby, Baltimore, Springfield,
Weathersfield, West Windsor, and Reading.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for southern
Vermont.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
