...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL ERIE AND NIAGARA
COUNTIES THROUGH 430 AM EDT...

At 335 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Niagara Falls, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Buffalo, Niagara Falls, North Tonawanda, Lockport, Kenmore,
Tonawanda, Amherst, Williamsville, Grand Island, Newfane, Pendleton,
Lewiston, Youngstown, Fort Niagara State Park, Sanborn, Wilson,
Clarence Center, Cambria Center, Olcott, and Pendleton Center.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
