...A CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NIAGARA AND WESTERN
ORLEANS COUNTIES THROUGH 830 AM EDT...

At 733 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Newfane, or 7 miles northwest of Lockport, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Storms will also produce heavy rainfall
         which may result in localized flooding.

Locations impacted include...
Niagara Falls, Lockport, Medina, Newfane, Lewiston, Youngstown,
Middleport, Fort Niagara State Park, Sanborn, Shelby, Wilson, Barker,
Cambria Center, Olcott, Pendleton Center, Ransomville, Gasport, Model
City, Appleton, and Rapids.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
