...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CUSTER AND
NORTHWESTERN CARTER COUNTIES THROUGH 330 AM MDT...

At 227 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 26
miles east of Volborg, or 29 miles west of Ekalaka, moving east at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ekalaka and Medicine Rocks State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
