Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
404 AM EDT Fri Sep 20 2024

High pressure over the region will give the Keystone state
another warm and sunny late summer day. Cooler conditions
are expected for the first day of fall on Sunday.

Aside from some patchy fog this morning, sunny skies will
prevail today. High temperatures range from the upper 70s
across the mountains, to the mid 80s elsewhere. Lows tonight
will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

A weak cold front over the upper Great Lakes will bring a
chance of showers and thunderstorms to Pennsylvania on
Saturday. Some of the storms could be on the strong side.
Highs on Saturday will be mainly in the 70s.

More in the way of cloud cover will likely result in cooler
temperatures on Sunday. The warmest readings will be across
far western Pennsylvania.
