Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
804 PM EDT Thu Sep 26 2024

Overcast skies and intermittent periods of rain across the far
southern portions of the state are expected tonight as a cold
front continues to drift slowly across the Commonwealth. Rain
tapers off across the remainder of the state. Light and variable
winds will minimize the temperature variation over the next 24
hours. Lows tonight tin the upper 60s across the state.

The front will stall just south of the state on Friday, keeping
the skies mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, mainly across
the southern half of Pennsylvania. High temperatures should range
from the lower to mid 70s.

Continued cloudy and wet conditions are expected this weekend and
into next week as the remnants of Tropical Cyclone Helene
gradually drift toward the region.
