Low pressure over eastern Canada will slowly pull away from the
area by the weekend. High pressure from the upper Great Lakes will
build eastward during the next several days.

Brightening skies are expected this afternoon across the
Commonwealth, with high temperatures mainly in the 60s, with some
lower 70s across the southeast. Lows tonight will range from the
upper 30s across the northwest to the upper 40s across the far
southeast. Patchy frost will be possible tonight across the
northwest.

High temperatures on Friday will be a few degrees warmer, with
more in the way of sunshine. Most locations will have temperatures
in the 70s on Friday. Lows Friday night will range from the upper
30s to the upper 40s.

A day to day warming trend will continue Saturday, with the
weather staying dry for at least the daylight hours. Afternoon
highs Saturday will range from the mid 70s over the mountains, to
the lower 80s in the southern valleys and metro areas.
