...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL HUNTINGDON...CENTRAL
MIFFLIN AND CENTRAL JUNIATA COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM EDT...

At 652 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lewistown, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Lewistown, Burnham, Highland Park, Spruce Hill, Strodes Mills,
Juniata Terrace, Allensville, Mexico, Walnut, Mifflintown, Port
Royal, Mifflin, Maitland, McVeytown, Longfellow, and Atkinson Mills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
central and south central Pennsylvania.
