...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN POTTER AND NORTHERN
TIOGA COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM EDT...

At 458 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
near Galeton, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Mansfield, Wellsboro, Elkland, Galeton, Westfield, Gaines, Millerton,
Keeneyville, Harrison Valley, Cherry Springs State Park, Denton Hill
State Park, Lyman Run State Park, Tioga, Knoxville, Ulysses, Sweden
Valley, Roseville, Osceola, Tioga Junction, and Ski Denton Ski Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
north central Pennsylvania.
