...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN NORTHUMBERLAND...
SOUTHEASTERN LYCOMING...NORTHEASTERN UNION AND SOUTHEASTERN CLINTON
COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM EDT...

At 529 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Jersey Shore, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Montoursville, Carroll, Muncy, Watsontown, Hughesville, Montgomery,
New Columbia, Allenwood, Elimsport, Collomsville, Delaware Run, South
Williamsport, Turbotville, Picture Rocks, Loganton, Oval,
McEwensville, Williamsport Airport, and Little League World Series
Complex.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
central and north central Pennsylvania.
