...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL LANCASTER AND CENTRAL
YORK COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM EDT...

At 412 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
York, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lancaster, York, Columbia, Millersville, Willow Street, Red Lion, New
Holland, Spry, East Petersburg, Dallastown, East York, Leola,
Stonybrook-Wilshire, Paradise, Salunga-Landisville, Maytown, Tyler
Run-Queens Gate, Strasburg, Mountville, and Hallam.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for
south central Pennsylvania.
