Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
158 PM MDT Fri Jun 28 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns continue this afternoon with strong wind
gusts over 40 MPH and minimum RHs below 15 percent associated with
the cold front. Fire weather concerns diminish over the weekend.
Cooler temperatures are expected on Saturday post frontal. This will
contribute to higher humidities. Winds will also be weaker. Storms
with the potential for wetting rains will be possible on Sunday,
reducing fire weather concerns.
