Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
153 PM MDT Wed Jun 26 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns will remain low for today and Thursday. FWZs
in western Carbon County will see humidity minimums near 20% today
and Thursday however, so any flashy fuels that could ignite may be
favored for spread in that area. The next day for elevated fire
weather concerns will be Friday as a dry air mass takes hold of the
region. Minimum humidity values on Friday along and west of the
Laramie Range will be near critical thresholds 13-17% and breezy
winds from the west will be sustained at 15-25mph by 1500 Friday.
