This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
south central Kansas, southwest Kansas, and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Elevated fire weather conditions will develop across far southwest
Kansas, generally west of Highway 83 and south of Highway 50,
where afternoon relative humidity will fall to the 17 to 22
percent range with south winds increasing to around 20 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Thunderstorms are expected to overspread western Kansas Tuesday
Night ahead of a strong storm system. At this time, the severe
weather risk appears quite low, however gusty winds of at least 50
mph can be expected. Another storm system will approach western
Kansas on Friday and Saturday, leading to an increased chance for
severe thunderstorms.

Storm spotter activation is not anticipated today and tonight.
