This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
south central Kansas, southwest Kansas, and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Very hot temperatures are forecast Monday and Tuesday afternoon.
Heat indices are forecast to be 100 to 105 degrees across mainly
central and south central Kansas Monday afternoon. Heat indices on
Tuesday are likely to be even higher on Tuesday afternoon,
especially across much of central and south central Kansas.

Thunderstorm chances will be on the increase Wednesday Night and
Thursday Night in the wake of a cold frontal system. Some severe
storms will be possible, however the coverage and most favored
area of severe weather is highly uncertain at this time.
