...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT MEADE AND NORTHERN CLARK COUNTIES
THROUGH 800 PM CDT...

At 654 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles northwest of Missler to near Minneola.
Movement was south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Meade, Fowler, Meade State Park, Missler, and Plains.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
southwestern Kansas.
