There are some scattered showers with an embedded storm or two early this morning, and will continue to see a 30-40% chance for off and on light to moderate precipitation throughout the morning. Accumulations of around one tenth of an inch or less are expected this morning. Additional scattered showers and a few embedded thunderstorms are forecast for this afternoon (30-50% chances) before moving east of the wildfire location by roughly 6 to 7 pm. Afternoon accumulations will again be around a tenth of an inch or less unless a storm briefly moves directly overhead. Skies remain partly sunny to mostly cloudy through the day. Winds will be start out southerly, but veer to southwesterly in the early afternoon and then westerly by late afternoon. Winds will increase to 8 to 11 mph during mid morning through afternoon, and gusts will also increase to around 20 mph for the afternoon and evening hours. Min RH will drop to around 45-50 percent during the afternoon. Smoke dispersal will become good to excellent during the late morning and afternoon.
