Flooding is also occurring along the South Shore, especially in northern Bayfield County. Water levels in smaller creeks and streams will recede this afternoon and evening while water levels will rise in mainstem rivers. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Water levels in rivers and streams over northeast Minnesota will remain high with flooding concerns shifting from smaller creeks and streams to mainstem rivers over northeast Minnesota. Additional rain and thunderstorms are expected late-week into Saturday. Heavy rain and some additional flooding issues are expected.
