Areas of locally dense fog will linger along elevated terrain areas around the Twin Ports, North Shore, and parts of the Iron Range through the next hour or two. Areas around the Twin Ports include Proctor, Hermantown, Piedmont, Duluth Heights, and Woodland. Visibilities of 1/2 to 1/4 mile will be possible at times through mid-morning, lowest in the Twin Ports vicinity, but visibility should gradually improve by late morning. Reduce your speed and use low-beam headlights when encountering foggy areas. $$ Rothstein
