...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN COOK AND NORTHERN
LAKE COUNTIES THROUGH 700 AM CDT...

At 631 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles north of Boundary
Waters Canoe Area Wilderness Near Trout Lake to Boundary Waters
Canoe Area Wilderness. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, Saganaga Lake, Basswood Lake,
Alpine Lake, Sea Gull Lake, Snowbank Lake, Ensign Lake, Kekekabic
Lake, Thomas Lake, Knife Lake, and Gneis Lake.
