...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN ST. LOUIS COUNTY
AND SOUTHWESTERN LAKE COUNTY THROUGH 900 PM CDT...

At 837 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported a strong
thunderstorm over French River, or 13 miles northeast of Duluth,
moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Half inch hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Duluth, Two Harbors, McQuade Harbor, Larsmont, Knife River, Stoney
Point, French River, Palmers, and North Shore.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
