...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN ITASCA...
NORTHEASTERN AITKIN AND WEST CENTRAL ST. LOUIS COUNTIES THROUGH 430
AM CDT...

At 400 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Hill City to 9 miles southwest of Jacobson
to near Palisade. Movement was northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hibbing, Keewatin, Nashwauk, Swan River, Warba, Jacobson, Blackberry,
Hart Lake, Goodland, Ball Bluff, Swan Lake, Wawina, Silica, Split
Hand Lake, and Floodwood Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 AM CDT for
north central, northeastern and east central Minnesota.
