...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL LAKE COUNTY THROUGH 815
PM CDT...

At 748 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles east of Birch Lake, or 16 miles southeast of Ely, moving east
at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Clear Lake, Forest Center, Dumbbell Lake, Kawishiwi Lake, Isabella
Lake, Bald Eagle Lake, Silver Island Lake, Perent Lake, Wilson Lake,
and Phoebe Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northeastern Minnesota.
