LOUIS COUNTY THROUGH 415 PM CDT... At 358 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Bear Head Lake State Park, or 13 miles east of Lake Vermilion, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
