The National Weather Service in Duluth MN has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Aitkin County in east central Minnesota...
  Eastern Crow Wing County in east central Minnesota...

* Until 730 PM CDT.

* At 638 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Crosslake, or
  19 miles northeast of Brainerd, moving southeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Cuyuna around 645 PM CDT.
  Deerwood around 655 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include
Aitkin and Mille Lacs Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado, go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. This storm has a history of very large hail and damaging
winds.
