...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CDT THIS MORNING...
...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northwest Iowa, including
  the following counties, in north central Iowa, Kossuth. In
  northwest Iowa, Emmet.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 449 AM CDT, Emergency Management reported heavy rain in
    the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already
    occurring. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain fell overnight.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Estherville, Okamanpedan Lake, Swan Lake, Iowa Lake, Ingham
    Lake, High Lake, Armstrong, Swea City, Ringsted, Wallingford,
    Ledyard, Gruver, Dolliver, Okamanpedan State Park, Wolden
    County Park, Estherville Municipal Airport and Fort Defiance
    State Park.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
