This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Scattered thunderstorm chances will return on Tuesday with a
Marginal Risk of severe storms in northeast Iowa with a few
strong wind gusts and marginally severe hail possible.

A Slight Risk of severe storms is in place across northwest Iowa
on Wednesday with damaging winds and hail concerns; and a Marginal
Risk over the northwest 2/3rds of the state.

Additional storms are forecast Thursday afternoon with some
severe weather possible as well although details will be determined
over the next couple of days.

Heat also builds into the middle of this week with heat index
values in the mid 90s in southern Iowa by Thursday.
