Damaging winds and hail are the main threats, though a tornado or two cannot be ruled out. Additional storms are forecast Thursday afternoon to evening, with strong to severe storms possible in portions of southern and eastern Iowa. Active weather is expected to continue this weekend and into early next week. More details will be known in the coming days. Heat also builds into the middle of this week with heat index values in the mid 90s in southern Iowa by Thursday and in the upper 90s by Sunday and Monday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
