A potentially hazardous and prolonged heat wave appears likely next
week as daily high temperatures climb well into the 90s Monday
through Thursday with peak afternoon heat indices at/above 100F.

Opportunities do exist for periodic scattered thunderstorms next
week with very low confidence on specifics at this time.
