The strongest storms could approach severe intensity near the Tri Cities and northern Thumb where 1 inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts are the primary hazard. Storm motion is projected west to east at 40 mph. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Dangerous and prolonged heat wave expected next week, as highs reach into the mid 90s Monday through at least Wednesday, pushing heat indices near 100 degrees during the afternoon hours.
