...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Michigan Waters of Lake Erie from Detroit River to North Cape
  MI...

At 208 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds up to 30 knots and small hail. These thunderstorms
were located along a line extending from 24 nm northwest of Bolles
Harbor Of Refuge to 7 nm northwest of Luna Pier to North Cape, moving
east at 5 knots.

  Bolles Harbor Of Refuge, North Cape, and Luna Pier around 215 PM
  EDT.
  Monroe Harbor around 235 PM EDT.
  Detroit Beach around 245 PM EDT.
  Woodland Beach around 250 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by strong thunderstorms include Woodland
Beach, Stony Point, Estral Beach, and Detroit Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These strong thunderstorms will likely produce winds up to 30 knots,
and could pose a serious hazard for boaters. A special marine warning
may eventually be required when these strong thunderstorms reaches
the nearshore waters. Boaters should consider heading for shore
before these strong thunderstorms arrives.
