...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Detroit River...
  Michigan Waters of Lake Erie from Detroit River to North Cape
  MI...

At 107 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds up to 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from 18 nm west of Luna Pier to Bolles Harbor
Of Refuge to 15 nm east of Grosse Ile, moving northeast at 25 knots.

  Monroe Harbor, Bolles Harbor Of Refuge, Detroit River Light, Stony
  Point, Woodland Beach, Estral Beach, and Detroit Beach around 110
  PM EDT.
  Lake Erie Metropark Harbor around 115 PM EDT.
  Gibraltar around 120 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by strong thunderstorms include Woodland
Beach, Stony Point, Gibraltar, Estral Beach, and Detroit Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds up to 30 knots, locally higher waves,
lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until these storms pass.
