...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN MONROE COUNTY THROUGH
630 PM EDT...

At 551 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Carleton, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Monroe, Milan, Dundee, Carleton, Maybee, Gibraltar, Rockwood, South
Rockwood, Estral Beach, Newport, Woodland Beach, Stony Point, Azalia,
Scofield, Oakville, Detroit Beach, and Bolles Harbor.

This includes the following highways...
 I-75 between mile markers 11 and 26.
 I-275 between mile markers 1 and 7.
 US-23 between mile markers 16 and 25.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
