...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southwestern Bureau
and east central Henry Counties through 545 PM CDT...

At 506 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Osceola, or near Kewanee, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow
         around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects
         is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kewanee, Princeton, Wyanet, Sheffield, Tiskilwa, Buda, Neponset,
Mineral, Providence, Johnson-Sauk Trail State Park, and Bureau
County Fairgrounds.

This includes Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 40 and
46, and between mile markers 51 and 56.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Stay away from
flooded areas. Report any flooding to local law enforecement.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
