* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  East central Rock Island County in northwestern Illinois...
  Southern Whiteside County in northwestern Illinois...
  Northern Henry County in northwestern Illinois...
  Northwestern Bureau County in north central Illinois...
  Southeastern Scott County in east central Iowa...

* Until 1115 PM CDT.

* At 1024 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Newton Corners to Rock Island Arsenal, moving
  east at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Bettendorf, East Moline, Sterling, Rock Falls, Silvis, Le Claire,
  Prophetstown, Hampton, Port Byron, Erie, Rapids City, Tampico,
  Lyndon, Riverdale, Hooppole, Cleveland, Deer Grove, Osborn, Carbon
  Cliff, and Fenton.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 305 and 306.
 Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 1 and 5.
 Interstate 88 between mile markers 1 and 44.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
