  Missouri River at St Joseph affecting Buchanan, Andrew and
  Doniphan Counties.

  Missouri River at Atchison affecting Buchanan, Platte and
  Atchison Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL WEDNESDAY, JULY 03...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Missouri River at St Joseph.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday, July 03.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Lowland flooding upstream and downstream
  from St. Joseph occurs.
  At 19.0 feet, Backwater from the Missouri River floods property
  along the Nodaway river at Nodaway, Missouri.
  At 21.0 feet, Riverfront Park in St. Joseph begins to flood.
  At 24.0 feet, A residential area in northwest St. Joseph begins to
  flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:35 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 17.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 18.6 feet this afternoon.
    It will then fall just after midnight tonight. It will rise
    to 24.1 feet Monday morning. It will then fall below flood
    stage Tuesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 03...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Missouri River at Atchison.

* WHEN...From Saturday morning to Wednesday, July 03.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Low-lying areas on the Missouri side of
  the river begin to flood.
  At 25.0 feet, A castings plant in Atchison is affected by flood
  waters.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 19.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 20.6 feet this afternoon.
    It will then fall to 19.8 feet tomorrow morning. It will rise
    above flood stage late Saturday morning to 24.8 feet Monday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday
    afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
