Minnesota...

  James River above Yankton affecting Yankton County.

  Vermillion River near Vermillion affecting Clay County.

  West Branch Floyd River Near Struble affecting Plymouth and Sioux
  Counties.

  Floyd River At Le Mars affecting Plymouth County.

  Floyd River at Merrill affecting Plymouth County.

  Little Sioux River near Correctionville affecting Woodbury, Ida
  and Cherokee Counties.

  Redwood River at Marshall affecting Lyon County.

  West Fork Des Moines River near Windom affecting Jackson and
  Cottonwood Counties.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Jackson affecting Jackson County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...West Fork Des Moines River near Windom.

* WHEN...From this afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Water begins to approach at least a couple
  home and businesses in Windom. Water also approaches River Rd
  southeast of 15th Ave and at least one private driveway is flooded
  off of Country Club Dr.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 20.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 12:15 PM CDT Friday was 20.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.2
    feet early Wednesday morning. This forecast will be impacted
    by how much rain ultimately falls later today and tonight.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...West Fork Des Moines River at Jackson.

* WHEN...From this evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Highway 71 will begin flooding, and
  flooding begins to affect homes and businesses along the
  non-leveed portions of the river in Jackson. Most of Ashley Park
  is flooded and the baseball fields are under 3-4 feet of water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 11.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening and continue rising to a crest of 14.1 feet
    early Thursday afternoon. This forecast will be impacted by
    how much rain ultimately falls later today and tonight.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

EVENING...

* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Floyd River at Merrill.

* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon to Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Flooding begins to affect the eastern
  edges of the city of Merrill, including some structures. The
  lowest portions of C44 also begin to flood. About 2000 acres of
  farm land are under water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 4.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 16.0 feet Sunday
    morning. This forecast will be impacted by how much rain
    ultimately falls later today and tonight.
