Scattered showers with a few isolated thunderstorms will develop west of the James River this afternoon and gradually spread eastwards through tonight. Accumulations up to a half inch will be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Periodic shower and thunderstorm chances will continue into early next week. Scattered showers with a few isolated thunderstorms will develop west of the James River this afternoon and gradually spread eastwards through tonight. Accumulations up to a half inch will be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible by Saturday afternoon/evening. A few storms could become strong to severe with the primary threats being large hail up to quarter size and damaging winds up to 60 mph.
