Scattered showers with a few isolated thunderstorms will develop west of the James River this afternoon and gradually spread eastwards through tonight. Accumulations up to a half inch will be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Periodic shower and thunderstorm chances will continue into early next week. Some strong to severe storms are possible, so stay weather aware. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Scattered showers with a few isolated thunderstorms will develop west of the James River this afternoon and gradually spread eastwards through tonight. Accumulations up to a half inch will be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible by Saturday afternoon/evening. A few storms could become strong to severe with the primary threats being large hail up to quarter size and damaging winds up to 60 mph.
