Showers and storms are possible this morning (40% or less) south of I-90. Additional showers and storms possible (less than 30% chance) this afternoon and early evening east of IA/MN State Highway 60 with a cold front. As the cold front moves through the area, expect dew points to drop and winds to shift to the west/northwest. Winds will be breezy, with the strongest winds and gusts this afternoon west of I-29. For Friday, highs in the 80s with minimum RH values in the 25 to 35% range could lead to localized elevated fire concerns where fuels are more cured. Greatest concern is for areas West River, where wind gusts will be strongest (to 30 mph). Rain chances return for the weekend and early next week, with the greatest chances south of I-90 and east of I-29 Saturday and Sunday. Saturday remains warm and breezy, but cooler temperatures prevail Sunday into mid next week. SDZ050-191230- Gregory- ...MODERATE FIRE DANGER...
