...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, and Rockwall
  counties.

* WHEN...Until 700 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways. Ponding of water on roadways is occurring or
  is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This
    will likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying
    and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in
    the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Dallas, Garland, Mesquite, Rowlett, Rockwall, Lancaster,
    Waxahachie, Balch Springs, Ennis, Terrell, Seagoville,
    Forney, Red Oak, Kaufman, Hutchins, Royse City, Heath, Fate,
    Sunnyvale and Wilmer.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is
harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
