This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.
Scattered severe thunderstorms will occur this afternoon and evening
across much of North and Central Texas. The primary threat will be
hail greater than 2 inches in diameter, but damaging wind gusts of
60 to 70 mph will also accompany some of the severe storms. In
addition, isolated cells, particularly those early in the event,
could become tornadic. The storms should exit to the south and east
late this evening and into the overnight hours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
There is a low threat of severe storms late Saturday afternoon in a
small area from Possum Kingdom to Bowie and Nocona. Large hail and
damaging wind gusts will be the primary hazards.

After a brief break during the latter half of the holiday weekend,
storm chances will return, prevailing much of the upcoming week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is likely for much of the area the remainder of
the afternoon and into the evening.
