Regional Weather Summary

This is the regional weather summary for the eastern two-thirds
of Montana, southern Saskatchewan, and western North Dakota.

The hottest day of the season thus far shows temperatures ranging
from the mid 80s in the north to the lower 100s in the south. A few
thunderstorms are strengthening over southern Saskatchewan. A
surface pressure trough is lined up over western portions of the
area. West of the trough, winds are generally from the west and
southwest at 10 to 15 mph. East of the trough, winds are from the
southeast at 20 to 25 mph.

This evening through tonight, the northern thunderstorms may also
find their way into the corners of far northeast Montana and far
northwest North Dakota, but confidence is fairly low. Temperatures
overnight into Monday morning will range from the mid 50s to mid
60s. Light and variable winds will set up later from the northwest
at 15 to 20 mph.

Monday through Monday night, expect clear and sunny skies. High will
be in the 80s and lows will be in the 50s. West-northwest winds will
be 20 to 25 mph in the daytime and 5 to 10 mph in the nighttime.
