This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Areas of flooding will continue to affect portions of Sherman,
Howard, Nance, Merrick and Polk counties as a result of heavy
rainfall Friday night.

There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms mainly after 6
PM along and west of Highway 183. The primary severe weather
threat will be wind gusts to 60 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms across portions
of the area again on Monday and Tuesday.

A Heat Advisory has been issued for the entire outlook area for
Monday afternoon and evening with expected heat index values of
103 to 108 degrees. Additional high heat index values to around
105 could again be possible on Tuesday mainly southeast of the
Tri-Cities.

There are additional periodic thunderstorm chances across much of
the outlook area from Wednesday night through Saturday.
