An overall unsettled pattern looks to remain in place across the
region this weekend and into the first half of the new work
week...with periodic thunderstorm chances remaining in the forecast.
Looking at Saturday...there may be some showers and storms lingering
around from a disturbance moving through tonight...but the overall
best chances may be focused off to the east of the local area.
Expecting breezy southerly winds around 15 to 25 MPH...with
afternoon highs reaching the 80s to low 90s. The daytime hours on
Sunday are currently expected to be dry...before another disturbance
moves in during the evening and overnight hours. Highs reach into
the 90s...with gusty southerly winds expected to continue. Storm
chances look to be focused mainly along and north of Interstate 80
for Monday and Monday night...with the potential for more widespread
chances Tuesday evening and overnight. Highs both days are in the
80s and 90s...and Monday is forecast to be the windiest day...with
southerly winds of 25 to 30 MPH not out of the question.
