...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN BUFFALO...
SOUTHWESTERN SHERMAN AND NORTHEASTERN DAWSON COUNTIES THROUGH
MIDNIGHT CDT...

At 1131 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Miller, or 21 miles northwest of Kearney, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern
Buffalo, southwestern Sherman and northeastern Dawson Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
south central and central Nebraska.
