...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN DAWSON COUNTY THROUGH
515 PM CDT...

At 445 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Willow Island, or 19 miles west of Lexington, moving north at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Willow Island around 450 PM CDT.
  Cozad and Gothenburg around 455 PM CDT.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 209 and 224.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
south central Nebraska.
