...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT VALLEY AND NORTHWESTERN SHERMAN
COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM CDT...

At 605 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Sargent to near Arcadia to 6 miles north
of Litchfield. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Arcadia around 610 PM CDT.
  Ord and Elyria around 625 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Fort Hartsuff
State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
central Nebraska.
