...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN DAWSON COUNTY THROUGH
545 PM CDT...

At 516 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Cozad, or 15 miles west of Lexington, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Cozad around 520 PM CDT.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 212 and 230.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
south central Nebraska.
